The Bellingham United held off a late comeback effort by the visiting OlyTown Artesians to secure second place in the WISL standings, guaranteeing the Hammers will host a semi-finals match at the Sportsplex. OlyTown proved their worth by taking Bellingham to the final minutes of the 6-5 nail-biting finish Saturday, February 10th. The Women's team kicked-off the evening with a 12-0 drubbing of the visiting OlyTown Artisans and the Men's team put a cap to the night with a 7-2 win over the Snohomish Sky. The Bellingham United may have stiff competition in the Baker Division of the Western Indoor Soccer League as the upstart Everett City Football Club make a statement to the rest of the league by defeating the 4 time WISL champion Bellingham United at home. The Hammers faced a hostile crowd as the Everett fans rolled deep into Bellingham and took over the Sportsplex Saturday, January 20th.
