Blazers Sweep Totems in Home Opener
The Bellingham Blazers inaugural season in the Western States Hockey League comes with a dominating performance, sweeping the Seattle Totems in two games at the Sportsplex. The first night's match-up featured five goals scored by five different Blazers. The encore match saw three goals by three different Blazers plus a shutout by Goalie Jake Holden. With the new league comes faster competition and a grueling travel schedule. The influx of new talent as well as returning veterans are more than ready for the challenge.
