Paul Hafford lead the Slam with 23 points and Derrick Webb comes off the bench to score a season-high 20 points in a game that featured seven ties and 10 lead changes. Blitz scuttle the Buccaneers in season opener
The Bellingham Blitz defense shutout the visiting Boise Buccaneers forcing seven turnovers and allowing the Blitz offense to score at will. The Blitz jumped out early with three touchdowns in the first quarter and followed with a touchdown scored in each of the following quarters. Final score: 49-0 Click here
At halftime fans were introduced to the Blitz Girls Dance team and were treated to a performance by Island Cheer.
